No Sugar Added Black Cherry Almond Scones
These scones make a perfect treat for breakfast, lunch, an afternoon snack, or dessert.

- Preheat oven to 325°F
- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Cut in butter with pastry blender
- In a medium mixing bowl, combine liquid stevia, heavy whipping cream, Black Cherry Zevia, vanilla extract, almond extract, and mix. Pour wet ingredients into the large mixing bowl with dry ingredients and mix until moist
- Add cherries. Mixture will be very sticky
- Turn onto floured surface and knead 4 or 5 times with floured hands. Pat out to 1/2 inch thick and cut into wedges
- Brush tops with egg wash and sprinkle with sliced almonds
- Place on greased baking sheet
- Bake for 15 minutes, remove, and let cool on wire rack
Glaze
- While scones are cooling, mix together liquid stevia, Black Cherry Zevia, and Greek yogurt for glaze
- Drizzle scones with glaze and enjoy with a cup of tea

- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/3 tsp salt
- 1/3 cup very cold butter, cut into pieces
- 1/3 tsp liquid stevia
- 2/3 cups heavy whipping cream
- 2/3 cups Zevia Black Cherry Soda
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp almond extract
- 1 cup dried cherries
- egg wash – 1 egg and 1 tsp water, beaten
- 1/4 cup slices almonds, for sprinkling
Glaze
- 1/3 tsp liquid stevia
- 3 tbsp Black Cherry Zevia
- 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
